Betsi Mufson, LMSW
Oftentimes, when experiencing loss, intense emotions can obscure our thinking and inhibit our ability to connect. We do not identify our feelings as being related to loss because people usually think of loss as a physical death. However, loss happens as a result of change and transition, too. We can experience loss when we end a relationship, change jobs, become “empty nesters…” Transitions have a share of loss to process…therapy helps us do this work and create a positive path forward.
As we get to know and trust each other…I will evaluate your stressors, losses, goals and support your growth using the specific therapeutic techniques needed. In time and with mindfulness we will re-establish balance and increase positivity. Most clients feel a sense of relief after just one session.
