Join us Wednesdays evenings at 6pm for WFC’s Mindfulness and Meditation Group. The focus of the group is to learn how to:
- Manage anxiety, depression, and stress using meditation. Cultivate mindfulness, the moment-to-moment process of becoming present and centered through observing one’s own mental, physical, and emotional experiences
- Integrate a simple meditation practice into your daily routine with the help of weekly support from group members
- Refine the postures and breathing techniques that you may already know, or those that you learn
- Understand the difference between mindfulness and meditation and become comfortable selecting each for specific experiences
The Group meets on Wednesdays, from 6-7pm, at Westport Family Counseling. The Group is facilitated by Betsi Mufson, LMSW
