Many of the people I work with share the common experience of having difficulty being in the moment or staying present. My goal is to help people stay grounded and learn to “just be.” I help my clients overcome their distractions, giving them clear vision about the issues that are present in their lives…issues which inhibit their ability to grow and achieve success. When we are distracted, it is difficult to validate ourselves and trust our intuition. As a result, it becomes harder to problem solve. Everyone actually has an inherent ability to find solutions. The ability to find answers comes through maintaining focus and looking past distractions. At the moment my clients are able to achieve this, they make organic choices, which often involve doing exactly what they need to do to succeed.
Background: Loredana Trandu, LPC, CPT, FNS is a licensed psychotherapist, yoga teacher and practitioner. She combines her knowledge of mind and body in individual therapy as well as to facilitate meditation and stress management groups. Loredana’s approach to therapy integrates bodywork, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychology. Loredana is also trained in EMDR. Beyond her work with mood disorders, she treats a specific population of clients who present body-based symptomatology and body image issues, including athletes and people with somatic problems.
