Couples Counseling

Being a couple is a shared experience, as well as the combination of two people’s individual experiences. For this reason, it is important to pay attention to each partner’s perception, looking at both the positive elements, and the dynamics that are interfering with deepening intimacy and the enjoyment of one another. A couples counselor can be invaluable in looking at the different patterns of communication and behavior. They are trained to work in a non-biased manner, simultaneously promoting the team, while also advocating for each person’s individuality and specific needs. Having a unique vantage point, the therapist can make suggestions about how each partner might consider other views and choices.

Couples Counseling is used for:
Co-dependence, boundaries, intimacy problems, issues with money, bickering, pre-marital concerns, lack of mutuality
